The Area

Port Isaac

A truly wonderful ‘old’ village with quaint cottages lining the narrow lanes down the side of the steep valley to the harbour. There is a thriving village community with inns, shops and restaurants and further facilities catering for everyday needs.

There are splendid surfing beaches at Polzeath, whilst Rock offers boating facilities including moorings, a jetty, plus marvellous sandy beaches at Daymer Bay.

The sandy estuary of the River Camel which runs between Padstow and Rock produces a wonderful playground for water enthusiasts and sailors with many families returning to the area year after year to enjoy the magical setting.
